Hell-bent on ruling England, an evil lawyer and his celebrity-politician wife discredit a policeman, but bite off more than they can chew!
Character DrivenFarceSlapstickTime Period: PresentStory Location: EuropeSpecial Effects: Minimal SFXTarget Audience: Young Adult
Bobby Saint, England’s best policeman, is expected to be announced by the Mayor as next chief of police… Until Harriot Plebb, running for Prime Minister, sticks her oar in and appoints complete unknown, Mustafa Woor instead!
Audrey, Bobby’s hopeless-journalist wife, interviews Harriot, who lets slip her plan to curry favour with ethnic minorities, by appointing Woor, to win the election. Edwin, Harriot’s evil human-rights lawyer husband, then uses underhand tactics to ensure Bobby is discredited and kept from investigating the Plebb's dirty dealings.
Audrey's story is rejected by her boss as just another conspiracy theory whilst Bobby loses his job, but vows to expose all the lies, rebuild his reputation and find the people responsible.
Eventually, Audrey’s brother Guy, a dodgy “odd-job man” comes to the rescue when Edwin desperately hires him for a last job, leading to a potentially explosive finale! Bobby saves the day by putting a stop to Harriot and Edwin’s evil antics and the Mayor reveals a secret to Audrey and Guy.
