A serial killer is terrorizing a city until he gets kidnapped by three petty crooks. Their ransom demand to City Hall is chillingly simple: "Give us a million dollars, or we'll let him go again."

Joe tells his brother Danny, who at first doesn't believe him. But he is curious enough to check into it - and when he realizes his younger brother is right he comes up with an audacious plan - to KIDNAP the killer and ransom him to the City. He enlists a bulry ex-con named Vin and then the three of them nervously carry out the plan.
But unfortunately Sadowitz is very, very good at manipulating his captors, turning them against each other, making them paranoid. Will Danny be able to keep control long enough to get the ransom? Or will the cops catch them while Sadowitz is still their hostage? Or will Sadowitz manage to escape and go back to his murderous ways?
