GAME OVER is a touching comedy about an old school gamer, Kirby, who isn't a boy, yet isn't quite a man. When his girlfriend makes him choose between video games and her, Kirby decides to advance to the next level and propose. But in order to afford an engagement ring, he enters a contest to - that's right - play video games. His rival is none other than his ruthless boss at the video game store. But as the contest grows near, Kirby soon learns that he isn't in the Mushroom Kingdom anymore. Will he beat the game? Will he defeat his boss? Will he win his princess? Or will it be GAME OVER?

His arrogant boss, Seth, at the video game store, Game Dump, enters the contest against Kirby. With the help of his best friend, Tommy, Kirby trains for the contest by playing the game. Meanwhile, Daisy studies for her NCLEX-RN to become a registered nurse. Tensions rise as Daisy only sees Kirby playing video games instead of doing something with his life. The day of the contest comes, and in the final round between Kirby and Seth, Kirby chooses Daisy over the contest and forfeits. Seth was caught cheating, so he's disqualified, and Kirby is declared the winner anyway. After a final showdown between Kirby and Seth, Kirby proposes to Daisy, who says yes.
