Active ✔ Script360A demoted, acrimonious Federal Agent grudgingly joins the crusade of a Godly vigilante rescuing trafficked children, where she finds the man who murdered her little sister, and faces saving the children or exacting revenge and killing her sister’s murderer.
"Imagine a relentless DHS agent who’s spent a decade consumed by revenge because at 14, a young cartel gang member shot her, and the bullet passed through her, killing her sister. She denounced God, swore she’d never be helpless again, and promised revenge."
Michaela (Mic) Alverez, fueled by anger and guilt, trained for years to become a lethal warrior and joined Homeland Security. Mic’s now an abrasive but exceptional DHS agent, and while tracking terrorists, she uses agency resources to hunt down her sister’s killer.
Mic’s anger and drinking have made her radioactive. Violent outbursts on ops, alienating fellow agents, and has recently blown a major investigation, getting her demoted to DHS Human Trafficking, she quits in disgust and self-medicates in a whisky bottle. Until…
Until the one person Mic cares about, her precocious, 14-year-old neighbor, Hannah, is abducted after she gave Hannah some bad boy advice. Mic’s back at DHS and accepts the Trafficking Division Agent position to gain access to the resources needed to find Hannah.
Her first assignment? Locate a charismatic vigilante rescuing trafficked kids: Mic gets into the information available through DHS and is taken aback at how many children have been abducted just in Southern California. She recognizes many of the cartel factions involved.
Mic starts her investigation where the vigilante began delivering children to local churches. She discovers his pattern, quickly apprehends a Christian rock band leader, David, who believes he’s on a divine mission. Mic denounced God but sees an opportunity with David.
An unlikely team: David’s compassion and Mic’s fury. She will use David and his network to find Hannah. He sees ‘Archangel Michaela’, a warrior God sent to him. Micaela can do what David can’t. Mic has the skills to stop these Godless men from Trafficking innocent children.
Mic’s knowledge of cartels and relentless pursuit uncovered a massive high-end cartel child sex-trafficking ring tied to a Chi-Com operation that is jointly bringing 400 lbs. of fentanyl into the country, enough to poison tens of millions of Americans. Plus… they have Hannah!
The cartel boss in charge? Carlito Bonino, who murdered Mic’s sister. She’s hunted him for years. Now she has him in her crosshairs. During her operation, she finds Carlito is giving Hanna to a Chinese General who’s taking her to China. Mic faces an impossible choice…
Take down the cartel/Ci-Com operation stopping the fentanyl, saving millions of lives. Save Hannah, or finally kill Carlito, keeping her word to her sister. But she can’t do it all. She’s alone, with no DHS backup. And no matter her choice, Mic will most likely die trying.
Mic penetrates the Beverly Hills Estate, a cartel-owned fortress where they are holding Hannah. Mic delivers a relentless, death-defying battle against Carlito’s cartel soldiers and manages to fight her way to Carlito, ready to confront him, but his men capture Mic.
In her darkest moment, after a gruesome battle, Mic is facing unwinnable odds, and she does something she never thought possible: she prays. And for some reason, Carlito’s most deadly soldier lets her escape, allowing her to save Hanna, but Carlito slips away.
Weeks later, still beat-up, sitting in the back of a church with Hanna, Mic listens as David preaches on forgiveness and waiting for prayers to be answered. Her phone buzzes—a text from DHS-Anti-Terrorism Unit: ‘We have located Carlito. How soon can you get here?
