When an architect inherits an apartment complex from his estranged dead father, the last thing he expects is final confrontation with him. He is pulled into a world of “living spirits”, who may be the only allies to save him and his family from a realm of evil for which he is unprepared. The outcome between life and death will end with him.

Aiden Cross, Architect and his partner Jackson "Jax" Merrick, Contractor are an up-and-coming Design and Construction firm looking for their big break. Some of the recent jobs they hoped to get were lost due to the competition undercutting their bids. They keep optimistic hoping that their luck will soon change.
Aiden is married to Celia Cross, an Interior Designer with her own firm trying to make a name for herself as a designer. She is finally getting noticed and is building her reputation as a new original voice in design.
Aiden and Celia have two children, Devon and Lacey. Devon, the typical teenage boy and his sister, Lacey who takes after the creative gifts of her mother.
One day, a letter arrives at Aiden's office regarding Jeremy Cross, Aiden's estranged father. As he meets with the attorney disposition of his father's estate, he now is the owner of his father's rundown apartment complex. Aiden is surprised as he hadn't spoken to his father in years and was expecting the attorney to tell him he had been given the debts of his father.
Aiden and his partner, Jax decide to take the property on as project as the location has value. Aiden enlists his family to assist him in this massive renovation project. Aiden relives some of the darker history and distance with his father but his family encourages him with their support for taking on this project.
As they get deeper into the renovation, they find more than they expected. Aiden meets a resident of the building which he expected to be unoccupied. Through this encounter with Harriet, he learns secrets about his father. In the meantime, his children encounter other residents of the building who have secrets of their own.
The shadows that linger, the feelings of an unknown danger, and finding a supernatural force beyond their experience begins to engulf them all. Things start to take a darker turn when Jax gets closer to the source of the darkness. Things unfold to a battle between darkness and light.
Will the ghosts of the past be finally able to rest? Will Aiden and his family find the answers they need to balance the scales? Will good prevail or will evil win?
