Episode Synopsis

Jack Thomas is a dead-beat divorcee and father of one. He also happens to be in charge of Hollow Grove's police department. Then Jack witnesses his friend's murder-- but what he sees doesn't make sense. Monsters aren't real. Jack is forced to hide what he knows as he leads an investigation into what is soon discovered to be several missing-persons cases, all the while fighting with and shielding his fellow officers from the impossible truth... But there's no hiding from what's in the woods...
