JOE KAPLAN (40s) leads an average life: he has an average home, an average ex-wife, and an average inferiority complex of a middle management drone. The only thing that keeps him in his steady life is his need to provide for his 12-year-old daughter. When-on his way to her birthday party-Joe strikes down beloved mega-celebrity Morgan Freeman and is accused of vehicular manslaughter, his entire life is thrown on its head. On the run and hunted by soccer moms, hipsters, serial killers, and The-People-of-Walmart alike, Joe must deal with the consequences of becoming the man who killed God.
