Episode Synopsis
A black-ops veteran and a criminal architect target seized federal assets in a high-risk heist that collapses mid-execution, exposing the limits of a fully centralized financial system.
In a near future United States governed by a centralized financial system, every transaction is tracked, controlled, and reversible. Physical assets, once the foundation of wealth, are seized, warehoused, and removed from circulation.
Michael Wolfe, a disciplined black ops veteran, operates outside that system, executing precision thefts that rely on instinct, timing, and experience rather than data. Elliot Mercer, a criminal strategist, understands the system itself, its structure, its dependencies, and the ways efficiency creates vulnerability.
When the two form an uneasy partnership, they begin targeting the blind spots created by total financial control. Each operation tests the limits of a system designed to eliminate risk, while exposing how demand, scarcity, and human behavior continue to operate outside it.
As federal investigators begin to recognize a pattern, what appears to be isolated theft reveals something larger, a parallel economy forming alongside the official one. Wolfe and Mercer are not trying to break the system. They are learning how to move within it without being seen.
