Short story of two young boys, brothers. The youngest feels his father loves the oldest better. In thinking of a Sunday sermon about the Prodigal Son, he asks his father if he would give his older brother a party if he came home, after spending all his money. His father says yes, and the young boy thinks, "I'd not go to that party," and doesn't understand. Through a event with his dogs, he realizes just what "welcoming home the prodigal" really means.
