Marty has schizophrenia and so does his roommate Danny. Marty gets a letter in the mail saying his father has passed away and he left him ten million dollars. So they go across the country to California to claim. They end getting lost and get robbed by two girls on the train. They end up at a sleazy motel and they find singer/actress Selena Gomez in the bathtub. Marty and Selena start to get close and soon romance ensues. Marty and Danny also smoke pot not knowing how bad it is for their illness. Selena stops taking her medication and that’s how she ends up there. Marty ends up changing by the end of the story for the better because of Selena.
