He's a true loser. But with the help of his mentor, he eventually beats his nemesis in a disc golf tournament. He ends up getting the girl too.
"The Kiwi" is similar to other underdog sports movies, especially "Happy Gilmore". It also has a lot of pot and poop humor. But most of all, it's about the triumph of the human spirit and overcoming odds to succeed.
