With mental illness becoming more acceptable to discuss, anorexia is the most deadly form. Sometimes parents decide to keep their children in the dark. They think that knowledge will traumatize them. But for Sara, her ignorance leads to a life of shame and disassociation. She spends 4 months in a hospital to gain weight, but is left to fend for herself when she is released. Her beloved school is deemed to be stressful, and she is thrown in with kids from the wrong side of the tracks.
