A psychological sports drama set in present day New York City. 'Wildcard' chronicles a two-week passage in the life of the protagonist RYAN WILLIAMS; a former rising tennis star who was banned from professional tennis for drug related charges, as he attempts to jump start his comeback at his home Grand Slam, the U.S Open. As he struggles to connect with those around him, Ryan’s state of mind slowly disintegrates, causing him to hurtle recklessly towards the finish line.
