While an international, award-winning painter, with a very high I.Q., struggles with serious mental issues, he fights for control of the images, in his paintings, that follow him everywhere, When confronted with a medical warning from his doctor, that could impound him, he seeks a new highly risky option, to stabilize his personal life.

Devon Wasserman struggles with mental issues, that are monitored by his doctor, who continually warns him to stay on his meds, Devon uses his considerably high I.Q. to justify his refusal to take his meds, resulting in serious relapses back into his low-life mental confusion. Devon is very attached to his partner, Megan, who stands by him, in support of his life-long, deep personal challenges.
Devon works constantly on his art, but, he feels that his paintings are trying to controlling him. He lapses into a tirade, yelling at the painting to stay home and stop trying to control his life. This is considerably worse and more intense, when he is off his meds. Everywhere he goes, he thinks the painting's images are following him, appearing on any surface that is in-front of him. He sees tham reacting to the current feelin he is experiencing.
After his doctor threatens him with incarceration in a mental home, he accepts his medicinal regime, as prescribed, however the images still appear. Megan suffers a wide variety of emotional and outbursts form Devon, and they separate for a short time. After his attempt to take his life, which was saved by Megan's quick response, Devon is given a choice to agree to a very high-risk, brain operation, to repair the cause of his main mental issues.
He reluctantly agrees, hoping he can lead a more normal life with Megan and his paintings.
