Fellow Talentvillagers... we've got BIG NEWS:

To preface real quick... back in October, several of us met up at the Austin Film Festival for one of the best weeks ever. We bonded, laughed, cried, and experienced one of the most inspirational weeks a writer could have. During this time, one of us (ahem, Arika F. Cullen) approached one, Andy Froemke (aka Goldzilla, The Good Doctor, Dr. Froemke, MD, Yoda the Wise) about a very special short script he had written, and one in which she had her eye on with the hopes of directing. Of course, our dear friend Andy said yes.

Needless to say, the rest of us piggy-backed Arika's vision and jumped on board. Six weeks later we filmed "Strike" and today, we are thrilled to announce that the film is complete and positioned for a successful festival run. In fact, it's already been selected to its first festival, even before post-production wrapped. Arika, a life-long survivor of abuse herself, sought to make this the best it could be with the collaborative effort, love, and support of her dearest friends, including the very place where the inspiration began - Talentville.

So, tomorrow we launch our Indiegogo campaign to raise funds to be able to travel the festival circuit in support of the film and its message - bringing vivid awareness to the damning effects of child abuse. But more importantly, we want ALL OF YOU to have a chance to be a part of it as well. While this project is very personal to us, especially Arika, nothing would make it moreso than to see the names of all the people that have helped, supported, bled, sweat, and cried with us in the credits with us... YOU. TALENTVILLE.

The greatest strength a site like this is the power of networking. And this film proves that.

Please head on over to the Indiegogo page and get involved. A $25 contribution will land you a "special thanks" in the credits and producer credits start at $100. It would mean the world to us for everyone to get involved with this, so check it out. And please share this everywhere possible to get the word out. Thank you all so much for the support, and for always believing and chasing the dream. Love and light...

P.S. The MOVIE TRAILER is posted on the Indiegogo page!
