Tempe Rivers is a cynical Phoenix waitress who has learned not to expect much from life. That changes when a mysterious stranger named Theodore Thyme walks into her world and reveals something impossible: time is not the straight line humanity thinks it is. It moves in waves, and someone—or something—is manipulating those waves for a war that has been fought throughout history.

Thrust into a world where the past, present, and future can collide, Tempe discovers that history is far more dangerous than any textbook ever suggested. The people fighting this hidden war have their own agendas, their own technology, and their own ideas about what the future should look like. At the center of it all is the Prime Archive, a hidden pocket of time containing knowledge and technology that should never have been possible—including M.I.R.A., a machine capable of interacting with the very fabric of time.

But PRAXIS isn't simply about changing history. Every action has consequences, and time has rules. The characters must learn those rules the hard way as they navigate shifting alliances, temporal anomalies, historical events, and enemies who understand the game better than they do. The further Tempe is pulled into this world, the more she realizes that her recruitment may not have been a coincidence.

Her missing mother may be connected to the mystery at the heart of the war—and possibly trapped inside the machine that makes time travel possible.

At its core, PRAXIS is a character-driven science-fiction adventure about people trying to understand a universe that refuses to play by their rules. Each episode opens another door into history, while the larger mystery gradually reveals why Tempe was brought into the fight in the first place. The audience discovers the rules of this world alongside the characters, with clues and seemingly small details carrying consequences that may not become apparent until much later.
